Those are both the foundations and the vision, for rapidly rising Producer/DJ and multi-instrumentalist, Jkarri (Joshua Gaskin-Brown)

Born in London, into a musical family, with British Triphop and Jazz roots, Josh grew up listening to the good stuff: 70s Soul, 80s Electro-Pop and 90s RnB. Surrounded by music and raised with an understanding of its life affirming qualities, his parents founders of a charity with the mission of bringing musical instruments into the lives of children, who may have otherwise missed out on that opportunity.

Community informs Jkarri’s approach to working with artists and building the right environment and connection, to get the most authentic version of those he collaborates with, is at the core of his process.

Part of the flourishing, next generation of UK talent, sessions for Jkarri are not simply about studio synergies but partnerships, with friends who inspire him to create, and his reel of releases demonstrates an aptitude, well beyond his years, including cuts with: PinkPantheress, Natanya, Brian Nasty, Joviale, Bel Cobain, Unflirt and many more.

Alongside his work as a producer, Jkarri is also one of the founding members of Brighter Days, a collective of producers, DJs and promoters, where his love for dance music can be channelled.
